Winter Wedding at Buchwalter Greenhouse

In high school, Jonah and I met at a summer church camp both of us grew up going to. Little did we know, we both had a huge crush on the other, but I avoided him at all costs because I was SUPER intimidated. Jonah is two years older than me, so after his last summer as a camper I thought I'd never see him again. Come to find out, the next year he decided to become a counselor when I was still a camper! EEEK!! Throughout that week, we talked a lot, exchanged flirtatious looks in the dining hall each meal, and at the end of the week, gave each other our phone numbers (I know... SO scandalous). That next weekend, we went on a date at Mohican State Park, which consisted of a picnic, hiking and stargazing—the rest is history! Being with each other felt natural from the start.

In summary: Getting to marry your best friend and choose to love & serve them everyday is such a beautiful thing. We're so ready.

Jonah and Natalie had the sweetest day! I just loved getting to know them throughout their engagement, and then shooting their intimate wedding. I left feeling like family! I think you can see through these photos just how sweet these two are AND how happy they were to finally be married after 4 (!!!) years of long distance.

Buchwalter Greenhouse was so fun to shoot at too - literally nothing better than natural light and plants amiright?! Even though they couldn’t dance because of covid, their reception was so special. Jonah and Natalie went from table to table and served all their guests dessert, everyone cried at the speeches, and all the men went outside to smoke cigars. Don’t sleep on these intimate weddings, ya’ll!
